THE MATCH
The Ridge Runners Gun Club and IPSC/USPSA welcomes you to the
2006 Texas State Limited Championship. This match will use the
most current IPSC/USPSA rules.
The match will consist of 12 scenario-based stages and a chronograph
requiring a minimum of 278 rounds. This match is a lost brass
match. There will be no check-in. You can stop by shooter services
to pick up your shooter bag, purchase T-shirts and raffle tickets.
Squadding information, score card, name labels, shooting schedule,
Score sheets and this booklet. We will hold the shooters' meeting
Sat. Sept. 23rd, at 8:00 a.m. The match will begin each morning
thereafter at 8:00 a.m.
COLD RANGE
The Ridge Runners Gun Club Range is a cold range. All firearms
are to be unloaded before entering the range. Firearms may only
be handled in the identified SAFE AREAS. All firearms are to remain
bagged or holstered until the competitor is in one of the identified
safe areas or the intended bay for competition and then only at
the direction of the CRO or RO. HOLSTERING, BAGGING OR UNBAGGING
IS TO BE DONE IN THE DESIGNATED SAFE AREAS OR ON THE LINE AND
THEN ONLY AT THE DIRECTION OF THE CRO OR RO.
SAFE AREAS
All safe areas are clearly marked and are there for your convenience.
Effecting repairs, dry firing and demonstration of your firearm
to other individuals is allowed in the safe areas. NO HANDLING
OF AMMUNITION OF ANY FORM IS ALLOWED IN THE SAFE AREAS.
ALCOHOL / DRUGS
The Ridge Runners Gun Club and USPSA will not allow alcoholic
beverages or illicit or illegal drugs on the range at anytime.
Persons violating this policy will be asked to leave the range.
DRESS CODE
This is a professional competition. All clothing will be in good
taste. No clothing with controversial slogans or camouflage clothing
will be allowed. The Range Master will be the final arbiter should
the need arise.
HAZARD AREAS
All individuals attending the match, including competitors, spectators
(including minors) or exhibitors are cautioned to not climb berms.
We require EYE and EAR protection at all times while on the range.
USPSA cautions all individuals to not pass hazard lines, which
are clearly marked.
All spectators must sign a Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement
which are available at the Stat Shack before entering the range.
COURSE INSPECTION
The competitor may inspect the general layout of the stages every
morning before the official start time of 8:00 a.m. during breaks
or between squads, The competitor is specifically prohibited
from activating any movers, swingers or dropping targets.
AMMO
The competitor is responsible for using safe ammunition and a
safe firearm. Any firearm or ammunition felt to be unsafe by the
Range Master, Chief Range Officer or Range Officer will be withdrawn
from the match. Ref.: IPSC/USPSA rules 7.06 and 7.27
RANGE OFFICERS
We provide Range Officers to help ensure your safety. Please follow
their instructions at all times. If a Chief Range Officer or Range
Officer decides a competitors firearms handling is unsafe or has
violated one or more of the rules as set forth in the IPSC / USPSA
rule book, immediate and proper action will be taken. If the command
to STOP is given, the competitor will cease any activities immediately
with muzzle down range and obey all orders issues by the CRO or
RO present.
ARBITRATION
All arbitration forms must be submitted to the Range Master or
Match Director. The arbitration committee selected by the Match
Director will have the responsibility of arbitration should the
need arise. It is the shooters responsibility to obtain an arbitration
form and execute it within the specified period as set forth in
the IPSC/USPSA rule book. Arbitration forms will be available
from Shooter services, the Range Master or the Match Director.

STAGE DIAGRAM
The stage diagrams as shown in this book may differ from those
encountered at the match. In the interest of clarity, not all
no-shoots are shown. Target placement may vary slightly due to
bay design. The competitor is reminded to review the actual stages
carefully and ask questions. All vision barriers and barricades
are hardcover and deemed impenetrable and extend to the ground
and to the sky, unless stated otherwise in course description.
Match Scoring
The match will be scored with the latest version of Easy Score
computer program provided by USPSA as long as the computers are
operable. If you have any questions about your posted scores please
check your math twice. If there is still a problem go to the window
on the south end of the stat shack and knock lightly, the score
keeper will assist you.
D.Q. Policy
Violation of the appropriate USPSA rules will result in a Match
DQ. Violations of the RRGC range rules, as stated above or USPSA
rules occurring anywhere on the range including but not limited
to the parking area, are the same as violations while shooting
a stage of the match.handling firearms in he parking area is unsafe
Gun handling and will be a D.Q. offence.
FIRST AID AND SHOOTER SERVICES
The First Aid Station will be found in the shooter service area
adjacent to the sponsors area. All shooters are requested to fill
out the first aid card provided in this packet and submit it to
the person at the sign in table. All medical information will
be kept confidential. All competitors with ailments or physical
conditions or those who are taking prescription drugs should list
all data such that if an emergency occurs, the range officials
and medical personnel will have the data available.
